The Sleeping Tiger poetic A young lute player restsThis is a print from one of my oil pastel drawings. A majestic Bengal tiger rests on an ornate stone platform in a lush, overgrown jungle. The powerful predator seems to have made a bed of some lost ruins in the deep forest. Behind it, sunlight cuts the canopy of trees. Best move along quietly else you may wake this awesome hunter. One of my first large oil pastel works depicted a tiger in a jungle. The paper on it started to buckle, though, so I
