Anglican The Appellation of John KnoxExceptionally rare Millerite Adventist work by one of its pioneers, Josiah Litch [1809 1866], published just before the predicted 1843 return of Christ. Litch was persuaded by the writings of William Miller after reading them in 1838. So effective was Litch at persuading people of the Millerite cause, especially the impending 1843 advent of Christ, he was called to be the first paid, full time Millerite traveling preacher. Many of his ideas were used
