This piece captures the moment where the sun strikes the pale bark of eucalypts, creating a bold, graphic pattern. In this painting, I leaned into a more abstract, gestural style. By using contrasting strokes of stark white and deep charcoal, I wanted to convey the vertical energy of the trees while weaving in hints of grey
