3 mm Pellet Press Die Set Material:D2 Tool Steel Count on our Micro LoadPellet Die set for making 3 mm (~1 8 inch) pellets from powders. This is the smallest die we stock. At such small diameters, you need such a small force (around 100 lb!) for very high stresses on the powder. We do not suggest using with a hydraulic press which does not have an accurate read out for low forces.
