Macabeuh 2022 Amor Per La Terra Chardonnay shaped by altitude andGrgoire and Judi Perron farm two and a half hectares at Journans, a village on the edge of the Bugey where the Jura massif runs into the Alpine foothills. Their holdings are scattered over more than twenty parcels, many of them only a few rows wide. In 2022 there was not enough fruit to go round, so they bought Macabeu from a friend in the south of France and made this instead. Macabeu has never grown up here and never will, which is more or less the
