Bonifacio Piña Barong made-to-order hand-applied beadwork is worked intoA line drawn into the cloth itself. Pia pineapple leaf fiber, knotted by hand into a thread fine enough to see through, then woven. Left in its natural tone, faintly gold. What marks the Bonifacio is its discipline: thin black lines set into the weave, with hand sewn embroidery held only to the front. Lined throughout over an undershirt, or on its own.
